1) Do I love it? Have I used/worn it in the last 6 months?
2) Does it have any sentimental value?
3) Am I keeping it out of obligation?
4) Is it broken? If yes, can it be fix?
5) Do I own more than one of these?
Asking yourself these questions should give you some guidelines when going through your items. Keep in mind if you are keeping something "just in case" it might be a good idea to donate it or put it in storage.
